I wasn't aware the Italian theater troop was playing in this cup... They started to dive less towards the end but still. And can we elect the entire NZ defense as men of the match?

What a great match NZ played a beautiful game, and could have won it as well. I think they have a great chance at making it out of this group if they keep playing defense as well as they are and get a few more chances on the offensive side.

Nah they dive all day. How is de Rossi man of the match, surely a NZer deserved it much more. The keeper if anybody, the one hand save was great. The next match is gonna be good.

Ivory Coast needs to make more accurate passes and sends, I think I saw them send it too far about 5+ times which could have been potential goals. Brazil doesn't seem like anything special so far....Yea they got a goal off a fuck up by Ivory coast defender who should not have done a slide tackler, but Im rooting for Ivory.

Doesn't matter unless the refs see it. OMFG, this game is over.....Brazil just scored a fucking easy ass goal. No reason to watch the rest of this game. I can't wait for Algeria vs USA, I think we have finally woken up. I want to see Brazil play a real good tea and see how they match up.

They did not deserve that penalty at all... yes.. his shirt was pulled... but if youre going to call that, you're going to have 9 penalties per match... You could tell it was totally preemptive too... he KNEW he was going to dive. Typical italian shakespeare moment... Whats worse is that the Italians call it 'clever play' and actually support it. Its a bunch of horseshit, and it drives people away from the sport.

I wish they would stop rehearsing for the last scene in Romeo and Juliet, and would instead just play the game like they are supposed to do. Least we now know that they not only are a bunch of cheats, but also a bunch of geriatrics who dont know how to win without diving for penalties and freekicks.

I LOVED the kiwis effort out there today. Absolutely brilliant... They almost had a late stunner. Yes, their goal was somewhat offsides, but the Italians pk was a sham too... so this match is effectively a draw no matter how you look at it...

I will laugh my ass off if Slovakia finaly comes out to play, and Marek Hamsik does to the Italians what he does to them during the season in Serie A, and they dont even make it out of their group...

kaka didnt deserve that red.
brazils win is opening the gates for kore dpr's 2nd place in the group. last time korea played portugal was their only other world cup entry. semin finals they were 3 up and then lost 5-3 by the end. portugal had one star player that scored all the goals. i hope that tomorrow is just as exciting... the games do seem to be getting better.

not really, that call was offsides cause there were players blocking the goalies vision who were offsides and involved in the play. Holy shit that was a nice goal by chile, the swiss guy fucked up though he could of blocked that if he woulda gotten in front of the shooter a little more. Cool goal though, one of the tricker goals i've seen yet. USA needs to watch Chile play and learn some mix up game type shit .
