Went out this morning and on a short par 3 bout 175 downhill hit the pin and landed within 3 feet...proceeded to miss two putts and came away with a bogey...wtf

The method i am thinking of using, is if your 3 yard away, the hole has a 3 foot radius. 10 yards away, a ten foot radius...1 yard. drain it. 2 yards drain it. but always shoot for the hole. But not leaving the ball outside of that guideline.

on a 140 yard par 3 i hit my 9 iron (hole was a good 20 yards down) i stuck the ball 5 inches from the hole to the right... i was sooo madd and i almost missed the putt lol... it was cool 2 cuz i won a prize cuz it was the closest to the hole comp fro a tounrey i was playing... how my story made u feel better lol

I remember at this one end of the season prty tournament I went around with marshmallows putting them near all the holes so people would think thy hit a realy good shot and then realize that it was a marshmallow

I feel your pain. Hit a beautiful drive on a par five, got on the green in two, 6 foot uphill putt for eagle, which turned into a 3 foot putt, then a 2 inch putt. SO disappointing, even though the course i was playing at is pretty difficult.

But on another note, does anyone else feel like they hit their irons better than their drivers? I've just started hitting my 3-Iron off the tee instead of my driver because i have so much more control over where it goes.

I found the gap in the shield on the truck that picks up balls at the rang, and shattered the side window from about 100 yeeeeards out. I did not play today, only practice. Driving rang drunk is fun.

Played 36 holes today. Went 42/42, then 42/46. Pretty solid day for me.

That's a total of 90 holes since last Sunday. Love playing the SLC courses for free!

that time of year again in Alaska, I went out to play today, and I did not have my damn 3 wood. Shot an 84 on a very easy course. Shit. 2 birdies and far to many boogie results.

I have played at least 9 holes everyday since March 7th. But i dont play when its raining, so thats like 5 days that i havnt played. Im getting pretty dirty at it, its quite addicting plus golf carts are fun

but yes, i know what that feels like. i've lipped out twice, and landed it an inch from the hole once.

op what do you expect? you prolly didnt go to the putting green and practice. Thats what I do every year for a few weeks before I ever play a round. Whats the point of playing if you are going to expect to play well when you havent picked up a club in months? it still sucks man you prolly turned your head to follow the ball too soon
