those are the worst putts, because you should always make them. But the thought of that makes me nervous and miss. Im with you I have done that countless times.
Meh, you'll get it next time. Still plenty of golf to be played.
I played 18 for the first time this summer today, got pretty towards the end. I don't take golf to seriously, just kinda a chance to hang out with my friends, but I'm starting to really enjoy it. I just gotta learn how to putt....
I feel your pain.. I suck at driving super bad, but just connected like mad on this whole today and was on the green in 2 on a par 5 and missed the 4 foot eagle putt..
golfing with my dad and a few of his friends last year, one of them missed a birdie by a 3ft put, which proceded to roll off the green and down a hill. 3 shots later he finally got it in haha
yeah i feel you. I shot at a tourney like two weeks ago. Had some nastyyyyyy holes. but eagled 18 right in front the club house and beverage cart girl :)
fuck youuuu. i hit the pin last summer from 230 out. so choked. have had one hole in one. and last week i played 9 holes, finished with three birdies and was 5 over. so consistent
I think it's something like, you are alloted two stokes for putting. so a par three, be up in one and down in two. par four 2-2, so on and so forth..36 dollars a round. is killer.
Theres a blind par three at a course i always play at and someone hit it a few feet short of the hole while me and a friend were teeing off on the next hole. I ran to the green and put the ball in the hole. Then went back to the tee box like nothing happened. We were halfway down the fairway when we heard the guy start screaming cause he was so happy.
I cant figure out if that was an extremely mean thing to do yet, he'll never know the difference, the only ones that know are me and my friend. Whatever, it was damn funny to us cause he ran up to us on the next hole and started telling us about it. Thats the most restraint ive ever shown to not laugh.
If you ever told me my hole in one was fake, i would probs cry. but on the other hand, you probably made his week with that hole in one. so idk if it is really mean either
I thought I got super lucky in a tournament once. There was 10k for a hole in one on the one hole. It looked money the whole way. As I was walking down I'm like holy shit It's in the. Ended up being like a 1 behinds the pin.
Now I just think of all the meth I could have bought with that money.
the par methods on 9-hole courses are not the same as an 18 hole course. there are a set number of par 5s you have to have on the front and back nine along with par, 3's and 4's. But that isnt a bad score first round of the season. i shot a 98 on my first 18
Cut the corner on a dog-leg left par-5, then hit a pitching wedge from like 175 downwind and it rolled a bit and just dropped. Was pretty epic. Go into the hole +2, walk out -1.
a 2 foot butt for a birdie = looks more like a 17 foot putt where its got a mean left to right break and the cup is positioned in the middle of the slope.
wow you hit your pitching wedge far. Its definitely possible, ive been on the green in two for a par five before when ive cut the corner but making the chip is impressive. I made a 130 yard chip on a par 4 for an eagle, thats the only impressivle thing ive done golf wise
The only time I ever got a hole in one was at the driving range with those "holes" they have out there. It was only like a 60 yarder, but it went right in haha. I did get a birdie on a par 3 with a chip in from about 40 yards. Super pumped about that.
