Scooters and Blades

So I went to Rye Airfield the other day to watch the Gatorade Free Flow Tour and when I walked in i and saw something weired.  there were more kids on scooters then on blades.  There was literally one kid on blades and probably 15 on scooters. Any clue why this is? I think blading is still fun, skateing is better but i mean come on, scooters? and there were two kids filming eachother on their scooters.

There's a decent amount of us that rollerblade at Rye, you were probably just there when

A. everyone was working
B. not a sunday when everyone usually skates
C. it was the gatorade freeflow, i wouldn't try and skate during that. but scooter'ers will shred anytime anywhere!
