Replying to When do/did you grow up?

This one day I sat down and wondered when I was to become an adult. Not that I'm in a hurry, but I would like to know when I am.

I do not consider myself an adult, not by far but I wonder what you guys put into the term "adult".

I am 17 years old, I hold a good job at a national airport, my girlfriend and I have been together for almost one and a half year now and I live by myself 3 hours away from my parents where I go to school and get good grades.

I've went through the religious ceremony confirmation at age 14, so according to the holy spirit I've been an adult for three years...

I being an adult or state of mind or do you/they still feel like they did when they were "young adults"(if there is such a thing)?
