i rewatched and i guess he lands closer to 270 than goes to a 50-50. the nollie to 50-50 he lands a lil sideways than goes forward, sick either way, but like the threads point

360 will be a banger next season, its way harder than 450, and steezy as shiz

Brady is legit next level. And b-dog didn't do a 3 on more like a 2 on then he keeps on spinning which is cool too. I think 180/3 on on rails are the next big thing

They blew up this year...or at least "pros" and edit makers were doing a shit ton of them (that reeeeally wide down rail at Breck in Park Lane was surface swapped by at least ten kids alone that I can think of). So, yea, I guess you're right in that average kids will be trying them this coming year.

Depending on the feature, they are hard as fuck, but look stupidly good.

As far as the OP, I dunno...yeah, you're seeing a LOT more 50/50s and they're tight, but 360's on? I dunno. I guess without being able to use your edges to grip the edge it'd be really hard to stop your rotation, so it could be a popular tech trick, but I think most people will continue to spin making the trick look like a slightly under rotated 450.

Momentum of spinning on causes you to continue to spin on the box...when you spin 2 or 4, on you have your edges to grip the edge of the box to stop the rotation (whether you're pretzeling, or just going back to forward) otherwise, you just keep spinning.

It's easy to 50/50 because you're not fighting the momentum of a spin on, ya dig?

That's what I'm saying—he didn't have a choice but to 180 out really. If the box was long enough to actually slide instead of just tap, he would have kept right on spinning on the box.

3 on's are possible I did one in one of my edits on a flat down rail. And I almost had them lip 3 on onto a down rail. They are way harder than a 4 on but I think they are sicker and more original

on the box? What are you talking about? We're talking about the 3 on 1 out of the flat box. Are you talking about the trap rail? Because, he definitely barely tapped the box.

ok, tap is an exaggeration, he slid about a quarter of it, but my point still stands that because he 3ed on and didn't use his edges, he continued to spin past 50/50. Pause at 8 or 9 seconds and you can see that he's already spinning even though he's still on the box.

All I'm trying to say is that when you spin on to a box you're momentum will cause you to spin in the same direction unless you lock an edge and break the spin....meaning, that to 360 on and truly 50/50 a box for a significant amount of time without spinning out the same direction or going crook slide is pretty much impossible.

I think the next "big" thing next year will be a little bunny hop revert when skiing out switch. Sammy has started doing them, and I have seen other pros give the little bunny hop to go from switch to forwards after landing off a rail. rollerblade steeze.

I got film on a friend doing a 3 disaster onto a flat down box like 3 or 4 years ago.  He was trying for a 4on an under rotated but it looked sick because it was on a pretty narrow box an he landed on it clean @ 3.

The video is on my computer @ my parents house so I don't have access to the clip right now though.

Or you could spin it in from the side a bit and land on one ski, and use the other to stop your rotation on the side of the box. It would take a lot of control but it's definitely do able.

2:17 is sick, the box barely looks wide enough to 5050. if you pause he puts his tails down on the box first, and although its quick, its official.
and the one footer to blindside 270, never seen that

Yeah, but I thought we were talking about 3 on and sticking with the 50/50...if we're talking about 3ing on and then swapping, 3ing on isn't a big deal at all. In fact, I do it all the time under rotating a 4 on, haha....who knew that I was just being "progressive"? hahaha
