Scott P3's come in a long length (184), perfect for us taller park skiers. I know there's a lot of threads on them, but no real info really exists, beyond they're moderately stiff, relatively new, sidewall construction, wood core, yet there are some problems concerning durability.

I'm looking at them for the stiffness and length. They seem like they would be a great park ski. However, the durability scares me, along with edge pullout issues?

I know Tom Wallisch rode them for a bit, I don't give a flying fuck about him. Please don't bring him into this thread. I just want the facts, and opinions.

volkle walls are 185 they are stiff

i wouldn't take the risk just go with the wall, or the 184 extreme pretty good durability and they are super stiff

Iv actually rode them, although take it as you want, it was for a week I was on the 168s with demo bindings and it was the first time ever I had been to a park.

They were really good all-mountain and they have a pretty short turn radius albeit I was on the 168s. They were really nice flex for all mountain and for a stiffer park ski, but seemed pretty dead feeling.

I would say there a good ski but theres probably better options out there like 186 jibs and 185 walls or try a 179 fujas (runs 184) or something similar

ive got some 191 scott punishers, gottem for a steal on tramdock. amazing as hell in the park for giants

My friend has P3's and his delamed in the tail after a few weeks. It may not have been due to bad durability though, he drove the ski into the ground on a backseat 540.

Stay away from p3's they break easy and aren't worth the money.

im not sure if they would be considered stiff but the Rossignol s4 in 181.

i ride them and love them. in fact, i have both pairs relesed to the public
