T-shirt thoughts?

1. tall tee. cause i dont like how wide and short normal fitting shirts are.

2. Aslong as its not cheap fabric that will ruin after a few times through the wash... Thick or thin either is nice tbh. As its summer now though id say thinner.

3. Bright colours or white. its summer i dont want to be wearing black. And if your not thinking about summer. Then any colours tbh. I know a few people around this site are a fan of "earth" colours. while others like their shit brighttt.

New shirt companies or anyone working with screen printing is always fun!  There are tons of designs and styles that you can bring from differnt walks of life, hip hop, to hippy they all get very creative.

Tall vs Reg, I think a mix of both is great way to go about it, there are some colors that you will not be able to get as Tall, where you can get almost anything for Regular fit.

Thin vs Thick. I've had both and I prefer the thicker tees, many times the thin ones will shrink differently, where they may get short and wide when shrunk, opposite of what any of us want.

Pick colors with graphics and colors you are going to print on the shirt. Not all colors are going to work with all graphics, and if you pick it correctly it's going to look that much better. 

We've been doing CFS Tees for a while now and we've worked through a lot of different styles, colors and logos, it's a trial and error the whole way to figure out what you like best.

-tall tees, i hate when a reqular shirt is too shot and fat.

-thin shirts shrink way too much, thick or get pre-shrunken shirts or whatever theyre called.

-bright colors are sick, but i also like white or black with bright colored graphics.

-colours like yellow light blue, bright vibrant colours are sick

Yea definitely. The more colors I get = less shirts I get, so what sort of size should I get? XXL? I'm not sure what most people would wear (in tall tee size)

You want to make a shirt that you like, not what you THINK other people like. If you size and design to specifications of others opinions, your going to always second guess yourself and not rep it. You want to make a shirt to your style and what you like, then when you wear it you REP it real hard. And to be truthful, my clothing company is repped by myself the most and that is always how it will be. Although others might like it, your the one on the front line making shit go down. ADV, MRKT, FINANCES ETC...make people believe your shirt is the best...F haters

be different!!! thats the biggest thing. newschoolers is a good market, but it would be a huge mistake to let the members of this site direct your brand. you have to be bold and stand for something, if you listen to all the typical responses you'll find yourself with a generic brand that looks like every other one here and follows trends. i feel like i cant answer these questions for you because these are the ones that define your image, and are the most important ones you make as a a business, so dont let a thread define you. if you decide you want to promote your brand around top quality, get thick shirts. if you want it affordable and available, go the wholesale cheap route. when i work on my powwow brand i try hardest to avoid the simple 'writing my brand name in cursive edwardian, and putting it on a shirt, writing powwow in graffiti with bright colors, using skylines, and other things that every single brand does.' its obviously ok to draw inspiration from certain trends but just be different.

Thanks for the advice. I plan on making shirts that I will be sure to wear. I already have some of my designs in mind, and I will probably be asking for feedback from friends on them to make sure they are unique
