I tried joining, but it won't let you in with an email address from a free email service. How do I get around this?

You can create a newschoolers e-mail account go on your profile then quicklinks and there is e-mail maybe the website won't recognize newschoolers as a free e-mail account since it's gettho compared to hotmail or yahoo.
