Salomon Suspects vs Threat

Suspects.

Suspects for sure. (I'm a girl in disguise) and rode those all last season. They are a good all-mountain park ski (horrible in pow obviously). But since we're chicks we don't have the strength as guys, so I never had issues with them breaking. The top sheet just chips super easy.

If you are a strong skier...go with suspects. If you are still learning and want something that will be lighterweight and more playful go with the Threats. Durability will be better in the Suspect. They will also be stiffer...which is better for all mountain skiing.

the suspects are sidewall construction which rides better and is more expensive to make,  The Threats are capped which is a less precise feel but easier to mass produce so cheaper!

Well, lets see. Suspects suck. Threats suck more. Go for the Suspects. Suspects are a fun ski while they last, where as threats are just pieces of shit.

the suspects are super fun while they last. im the same height as you and mine lasted about 16 days of riding 100% park. but like someone above me said considering you're a girl, not riding 100% park, and probably dont weigh as much as most guys they might work out super well for you.

I dont know anything about the threats but if you you could afford either id for sure go for the suspects.

Threats are garbage.  I broke two pairs last season within 20 days of riding; the first after 16 days and the second pair within 4 days.  They are a complete trash ski if you are looking to do anything in the park.  However, Salomon does honor its warranty and eventually gave me 2010s which I gave to my brother.

Get suspects.  I've heard they are a nice park ski.  I know they had durability issues in the 08-09 season, but I have heard no issues in durability this past season.  So go for it!
