Replying to Website/blogsite v.s. written resume

Just a general question to get everyone's opinion tell me what you think. If you personally were a team manager of a company and received hundreds of sponsorship requests a week, what would you prefer to see, a website/blogsite or written resume. This blogsite/website would be an alternative to the same old dull word document resume. It has your main screen with recent updates and then you can have links to sponsors/comp results/ goals..etc
Imo it just seems like making a normal resume is dull and boring..I've been keeping up with a blog I made and I really enjoy it and wonder if companies do as well..

Again what do you guys think
