whats the best way to attach pvc pipe to wood? i know you can drill in through the top, but wouldn't that catch when your sliding?

wat i did is drill through the bottom layer (i guess) and bolt it to the wood dont go starigth throught the top... like i pre drilled holes then lined them up and bolting the two pieces together
i put the bolts towards the end so i could stick my hand in the pvc and bolt it properly... if u dont get it ill try to get pics for u

o yea and make sure u but like a 2 by 4 under it runnign the whole length of the pvc... that ive sit support... then u can make a frame just like any other mountain would make to make it higher up

na i drilled a hole thru the top of the pvc to drill down into the wood. it never catches. its like impossible. ive done about 50 seshes on it and no problems.

yeah the holes wont catch. but if you want a nice smooth sound, just drill up through a 2x4 with a screw that wont go all the way through the top of the pvc. put em at like 18 inch intervals, sturdy as shit

I used construction grade glue, also known as liquid nails. it works without ony holes in pvc.

Thats exactly what I did.

Use a drill bit that is bigger than the screw you are going to be using, and drill down through only the top of the PVC, then you can use that hole to drill through the bottom of the PVC and screw it in. The holes will never catch

if you want to save money on pvc cut them lenghtwise. its also easier to screw them on because you have a flat base
