which type of kink? up kink, down kink?

If you've already got solid form on rails, the kink really isn't that much different, you just have to get used to having your feet move around, but really if your form is good that shouldn't be much of a problem. The only problem kids run into sometimes is they are afraid of the kink and they don't commit and are way back, and just like almost every other thing on skis, when you don't commit you are going to take a beating.. so just go out there and throw it down and you'll be fine.

i think kink rails are easier than flat rails because when you get to the kink you can adjust your balance

i always have problems going from the down to the flat tips?

Yea just keep the same form lean into the kinks and just do it alot. Never leave the kink after a spill make sure u grease it you will have more confidense.
