Just got a job at a local grocery store and they said i need nice black shoes what kind should i get Doc martins,docker,merrel or however u spell it) im going to be on my feet alot

Dont get Doc Martins.  they suck, they are no longer made in england, they are cheaply made in china.  I would look into either rockports (made by reebok) or Dunham (made by new balance)

i dunno if you need a dressy kind of shoe or just running shoes, but the most comfortable nice shoe in my opinion is anything made by ecco. they're legit

if there's a military surplus store near you, go get a pair of high gloss low quarters. I went to a military boarding school for highschool and that's what i had to wear everyday, but they are sooooo comfy. definitely worth the money (they're about 50 bucks i think)

nothing beats shiny shoes.

When I work where I gotta dress somewhat classy to say, I wear a nice clean (new) pair of Black Air Force 1's....Now I can't find other shoes in my big size, so that is part of the reason haha

what kind of grocery store? i (and everyone else) wear whatever the fuck kind of shoes i want. standing for over 3 hours at a time before a 15 minute break... they probably had tons of complaints from employees saying they were tired/sore

right now its either running shoes or my dvs skate shoes with bright yellow laces. depends how hot it is outside because i have to push carts once in a while.

I guess they are making some in England again.  I know once they moved to China the quality went to shit.  Also on the topic of the Vibram 5 fingers, they are a great running shoe if you dont have any foot problems.  Your foot is not a muscle, you dont "work out" your foot by runnign barefoot.  It can actually stretch out your spring ligament and lower your arches.  Again, if you have healthy strong feet they are great, but not for everyone.

This is false and Doc Martins are awesome. I've had a pair for about 6 years or so now. They've been around the world, gotten soaked in mud and water, and once time even partially cased in cement. The sole on one of them did start to seperate but it was a $5 fix at a boot repair place. You just have to get the matte leather ones because the shiny leather ones wear out quicker. Plus they are punk as fuck. The guys at the construction site used to make fun of me for wearing them.

Doc Martin don't even make shoes though do they? Isn't it just boots?
