Help my new skate park out!!!!

Hey NS, I need you guys to help me out. I know some of you ride BMX but the only people who do it where I live are 10 year olds. And they don't even ride BMX they just fuck round on mountain bikes and get people hurt.


ANYWAY. Vote NO and save my park, and maybe I'll give you a little gift. Probably not. ;)

seriously, I think it's more a safety hazard than it is about making the park last longer. bikes cause major wear and tear, but little kids on bikes get hurt / hurt people. we already have 2 parks here that bikers can use, this new concrete one needs to be skate & inline only.

skiers dont mess up the park any more than boarders. bikes make skate parks last almost ten years less according to a few other CO parks that used to allow them and currently do not.

You should kill yourself. Maybe it's your environment, I can kind of understand that. People who grow up in super rural places, all rednecks, no black people, end up slightly racist sometimes.

But seriously, your so wrong on this issue. If these kids are being dicks then beat them up. I've been to so many skateparks where the bmxers and skaters get along awesome. It's like snowboarding and skiing now. Sometimes I'll borrow somebodies board and let them ride my bike for a while. Skateparks are for everybody. If you can't ride a bike in the only park in your town, where the fuck are you supposed to go. City parks are built with everybody's money. Just because you pissed off at a couple of kids is no reason to try and ban bikes.

If you really want to do anything, push for separate times for bikes and skateboards in the park. Or be cool and just let it be.

Really now? From riding a bike around the skatepark just turns into dirt 10 years faster? For the most part bmxers and skaters hang out in different spots of the skatepark. And the sessions move around. I just hate seeing parks segregated.

done..... that was easy. One more vote for everyone to be able to use the park. I rollerblade, I have had collisions with bikers and had to avoid holes in ramps. With that said everyone should be able to use a skate park you brat.

I don't give a shit unless their in the way, and when they are just tell em to move. Crowds just go hand in hand with skateparks there is nothing you can do about it, and not everyone is good enough to understand how to avoid people. It's just part of the sport man.

At least there scene isn't shooting up in an alley or breaking into cars and shit for fun. A skatepark is a good place to hang out whether your actually trying or not. Maybe you should work on getting better at avoiding little shits so this doesn't piss you off so much. Ooooor maybe you should just get better in general because my experience in skateparks is that if your on point and going big groms WILL get out of your way.

I skate, blade, and have a 20 inch. There is no reason I should have to leave one at home because you can't deal with a couple groms mucking up your park.*



*this is of course for arguments sake as I will probably never actually attend your skate park.

Our local ymca skate park did that until we bitched cause the skaters couldn't ride with their friends who were bikers. Now it's a free for all and i like it. It adds another dynamic to the whole thing.

If a little kid drops his bike into the new 11 foot bowl, he's not going to be able to get it out. If a little kid drops a light skateboard he can actually pick up, he can easily get it out of the bowl. There was already a rule that no bikes were to be allowed in this park, so I don't know if this poll is even going to change anything.

In my personal experience, I've seen more accidents happen with bikes than any other thing (rollerblade, skateboard, scooter). They are fucking dangerous, and SOME of the people riding them are stupid about it (taking off their brakes if they shouldn't be for example). If they have two other parks to use, then fuck it let them use those.

We have a local park here that there are no bikes allowed and it's awesome. We also have a skatepark around here that has bike only sessions. Also, awesome.

If anything, this new park should have times where ONLY bikes can come in. Make a compromise ya know. Otherwise, I'm voting against letting them in.

Kids obviously a gaper just trying to keep numbers down at his park, it's pretty selfish if you ask me. I wonder how he ever has fun skating on the street with all those dangerous cars around.

And don't give me bullshit about the other two parks that bikes are allowed at, skateboards are allowed there too. Why can't bikes enjoy the concrete as well?????
