So my mom finally gave in to letting me go to momentum this summer... and i need some help on ski choice.... i currently have line afterbangs but there really beat up and the edges are nearly off and i would kind of rather not go to momentum with them :p... At my local ski shop I can pick up a pair of Ar6's for 300 .... but I've been pretty interested in next years ar7's.. would it be worth it to wait for next season and get the ar7's? is there a huge difference? thanks and +k for helpful answers :)

the ar7's are going to be capped/sidewall which makes the ski more durable. i'd say wait til next year. your only using your a bangs for a week.

sounds to me like its worth getting ar7's...


the vid for the SIA preview of the ar7 is on the 2nd page of the thread...definitely worth watching.

I would personally go with the ar6's for $300 that's a good deal, your going to pay double for next years for ar7's and let's face it no matter what ski companies do ski's still wear down and break.

Does momentum have demos? If so I would just bring your beat afterbangs, and then you can demo next years skis and decide which you like best then.
