Not tv, magazines, billboards those don't make me want to smoke cigs
just seeing a pack of cigs makes me want them. I think ads anywhere but a place to buy them is stupid.
nah powder days, hiking out smoking your cig then taking a bomb ass run down.
or landin somethin dope then sittin on the chairlift feeling good and having a grit
In my opinion no, it shouldnt be adverstised in skiing for simple reasons, nothing that hasnt been described before though. Bottom line is tobacco is really bad for you as everyone knows but I guess we live in free countrires and people should be able to do what they want. If you want to dip, do it. If you dont like it like me, then dont. make you own choices, Plain and Simple.
They're related...
i chew, and i did it couple times during skiing, i cant ski for shit when im buzzing, i feel like im gunna fall off the lift and everything, i only did it on shitty days in the park though, but smokeing a j and skiing, nothing like it, you dont think about doing a trick you just huck it and flow nice and easy, and if you dont land it i dont feel anything but the motivation to huck it again and do it again, i feel better alot calmer, none of those thoughts run through my mind about injuries or the stuff that could happen, tabacco ski team=stupid, going no where, if marijuana was legal and had ski teams= gold, the craziest tricks would be thrown down, skiing is not the place for tabacco but theyll find out in a year or two down the road
end rant
If you think tobacco ad's in Freeskier suck:
-Email them, tell them what you think. . I'm old enough to have bought the first issue with Mosely and Cindy Crowford on the cover (yes the model). I told them I was a long time reader and asked for a response. When I didn't get one here's what I did.
-Freeskier podcast, deleted.
-I'll never buy another one of their mags again.
-Done with going to the website.
If you don't like what a company is doing and they can't even be bothered to write back to a customer, there is only one way to get there attention: stop giving them money and let them know they won't see another dime.
