Looked more like a ruptured spleed or something like that, how do you break your pelvis from landing on your stomach

do you even know where your pelvis is located?  your spleen is in your mid torso.  your pelves are located on both sides of your waist, you can feel them.  he landed on his waist, not chest.  he broke it, missed the rest of the snow season and spring baseball.

His reaction after doesn't really seem like a person with a broken bone, like he didn't yell or anything right away. But he should probably eat better if he broke a bone from that small(ish) crash.
