Looks to be absolutely awesome. I loved Shutter Island and this looks a lot like it. I have not been this stoked for a movie in a very long time. (hope this isn't a repost, i searched)
This seriously needs another bump. I'm seeing more and more commercials for this and every single one just gets me more hyped for this movie. Ellen Paige, Leo DiCaprio, Jason Gordon-Levitt, Michael Caine, Tom Berenger, haha even Cillian Murphy if you're in to that kind of thing. Finally a summer blockbuster that isn't a stupid comic book movie.
yesyesyes i have been waiting for this movie for over a month now...soooo stoked for the midnight premire. then ill probably see it again on saturday or sunday if its good
it looks like it has more potential to be incredibly bad, opposed to good. but it also looks like one of those movies that could surprise you and be amazing. ill watch it. leo is awesome, and so was the dark knight
WOW. I just got back from seeing "Inception." It is one of the best movies I have seen in a LONG time. The movie has a insane plot line and keeps you guessing the entire time. Well acted and beautifully produced. And there are some sweet fight scenes in the movie. Go see this movie, it is defiantly worth the absurd movie ticket prices today.
Oh yea, there's a sweet chase/fight/battle/gunfight scene where the dudes are skiing and on awesome H1's.
Chris Nolan is the best director in Hollywood. He hasn't made a bad film or even a mediocre film yet. He came through and outdid himself with this one.
It wasnt terrible but they were trying to do way way too much... didnt make too much sense, not enough was explained.
Good idea but it was just a bit ridiculous at times... Not a bad summer film but its not oscar worthy or anything like that.
I loved the movie, they explained enough for you to get totally mind fucked. I think you just didnt like it cus you didnt understand it. but thats just me
Fully understood the plot... they just left so much out. They didnt go into enough detail of how the fuck any of the dream stuff worked, how people "create" these dreams and how other people can go into them etc.
Nor did they go into what the job they were doing meant, what that guys company was, why we should give a shit about him/his father... it was too rushed because they were trying to make it too epic.
Why, if they were dreaming, couldnt they just fly around and do whatever they wanted? Why do all the laws stay intact apart from a random train appearing/paris going upsidedown.
true.. now that u put it that way they did seem to leave alot out about explanation wise, but if you forgot about all that and just take it for what they give you, pretty solid movie. would be interesting to see how they explain how people "share dreams" and all that stuff
Im not saying it was shit... but it wasn't incredibly original or amazing or anything like that... wasn't much of a mindfuck either. I don't get what all the hype is about.
Also: The van fall off the bridge = no gravity for the hotel dream because theres no gravity in the van... yet theres gravity in the snowy mountain place.
This movie actually just pisses me off the more i think about it.
