For everyone that has a trampoline can you tell me the deal with em', i'm trying to convince my mom to get me one but she's bitching about how they're gonna raise insurance and they have aerial views of the house, for those who have them. What actually happens to your insurance and such?

Haha, that's what I was trying to say. All of my friends have em'. My aunt had to get rid of hers for some reason and now she's dedicated to make sure we don't have one.

Just do what I did, go on Craigslist, buy the damn trampoline without asking, and then bring it home and set it up before anyone notices. My parents have no clue how to assemble/disassemble stuff, so they finally they caved in and let me have a tramp. I went from knowing how to do um... nothing on a tramp to.. corks, rodeos, mistys, lincolns, etc. etc. in one summer.

Wrong. A trampoline does in fact raise your insurance. Listen to your mom. You are too young for a trampoline. You might hurt yourself.

I was only like 13 or so when I convinced my parents. Split it with my sister and got one for 350ish. thing was a great buy. Still bounces amazing, and slays almost all backyard tramps.

My dad told the guy to fuck off when he bitched about trampolines being dangerous. I've got 3 trampolines now, and a mini ramp in the garage. finally tore down the big mini in the driveway.(snow for years started to mess it up.

Just get it set it up and tell your mom she sucks at life

lol this is gonna piss some people off but tramps really do raise your home owners insurance.. however not by a substantial amount and is well worth it

We have a tramp, and my mom says it didn't raise the insurance a penny and that your parents are bullshitting cause they don't want to spend money. Tell them if they don't get you one, we'll post your address on 4chan.

my parentals wouldnt let me have a trampoline so we put it at our friends house. do that you can still bounce on it whenever you want provided they're cool with having a tramp

Technology + Aliens=Live feed of your house

Live feed of your house=Your mom undressing

Your mom undressing=New video for me to rent

New video for me to rent=More shipping for netflix

More shipping for netflix=Higher fuel prices

Higher fuel prices=More taxes your mom must pay

More taxes your mom must pay=She thinks is insurance

She thinks is insurance=Money to feed aliens

Money to feed aliens=Olive Garden getting wealthier

Olive Garden getting wealthier=Fast food slowing down

Fast food slowing down=New, bigger, cheaper items, like buck double

New, bigger, cheaper items, like buck double=More obesity


Therefore in conclusion, you getting a trampoline will cause more obesity in the world.

when my parents were trying to get insurance for our house, a few companies denied us because of the fact that we had a trampoline.

insurance companies are allowed to pull up the google earth image of your house to see your roof type house attributes and all that shit, but until they update google earth youll be good.

I spent 4 weeks working for an insurance company. We specifically looked at pictures of houses of people who wanted policies and the guy I was with actually turned one down cause it had a trampoline.

A trampoline is a liability for insurance companies and WILL COST YOU MORE FOR THE POLICY! And for the people who said "My mommy said our trampoline didnt cost our insurance anything." : you must have bought the trampoline after you already had the insurance policy. If they see that you acquired a trampoline, they are allowed to revoke your insurance policy and/or charge you more for it. The policy maker I spent the time with told me a tramp with a net around the side is less of a liability. But any tramp increases liability automatically

Listen to your mom. She's right

my mom said the same thing
this is how i conviced her:
i paid for it
i set it up
it gives you better bodily awareness so that i will be less likely to be hurt skiing and more knowledgeable on how to do tricks
good exercise (actually can be quite the workout especially now that its summer)
not too sure about insurance thing but we didnt tell our insurance ppl i dont think
and we got a net so its safe which i would want anyways
and i let her make a list of rules for it, which only lasted like a week haha they were like no flips while parents werent home and not more than 2 ppl on at once. just whatever it takes do it haha

when your mom finally gives in, look in the paper for a used one, itll be cheaper and already broken in and thus far more bouncy then a brand new one, it what i did, snagged one for 150 a couple years ago, still got it and its one of the best tramps ive been on (thats not a flybed ofcourse)

2. tell her you wont do anything overly crazy
3. have a fun summer

but really, do get a net for it, i broke my neck on a tramp, dont want that to happen to you
