Best Summer Drop In Ramp material?

About to construct a Summer drop in ramp but unsure of the best material to use for the surface the skis will be on. I've seen astro-turf. Snow fencing. Plastic fencing in general but unsure what would be best. any help?

one thing to use could be pvc pipe layed horizontally slides nice.

I would recommend astroturf ( make sure its on a hard surface ) with construction fencing over it. Make sure the astro turf and fencing is tight against the surface for it to slide best.

This works nicely! I think it's what the jib yard use in their setup as well.

no they use metal rollers.


and to ,mount them onto the ramp, drill big hole in the frame and stick them through and drill

if you have a decent enough drop in, indoor/outdoor carpeting is the way to go. i got some at home depot for $19 soap and water and ur set...

white plastic trellis. wet it down and its like ice. keep your jump/ bottom of your ramp turf though

thanks for all the replies guys. as for the snow part. i have been doing that in the past but its just toooo slow with it melting sooo fast. i live in new mexico and it doesnt last long when i bring a truckbed back from the local ice rink. and how would i go about building a Cult for something along these lines?

the orange construction fencing also works really well with soap and water, if you put it on astroturf it makes it alot faster.
