Hey guys. So My family just moved to Summit County(Dillon to be specific) and needless to say I am super pumped. I go to school in Burlington, VT at UVM and I'm going to be headed back there on the 30th to live for the summer. I just got to dillon yesterday and I know absolutely nobody. I am planning on just chillin in my house and skiing A-basin as much as I can.
I was wondering if anybody is heading to A-basin anytime between now and the 30th and wants to chill or ski with me. I don't have my car out here so I'll prob just get my mom to drop me off there or try and figure out how the bus system works.
Does anybody know of a way I can get some discounted lift tickets for a couple days at the end of the season or possibly pick up the epic pass that applies to the end of this season and for next one?
Also does anybody know of any good restaurants or cool places to check out around dillon/silverthorne? Sorry for the mass of questions but I'm just tryin to get myself acclimated around here.
Thanks!

Welcome to Summit. I have a condo in Summit Cove, and I'm working at Keystone this summer and next winter for sure. Have fun!

Silverthorne and Dillon don't really have a nightlife scene, you'll have to go to Breck and sometimes Frisco for that. But Jersey Boy's in Dillon has a good Happy Hour pizza and pbr deal and sometimes has a group of skiers hanging out around 3-6 after coming down from A-Basin.
Welcome to the county. Don't get used at Cilelias or Johnny G's too early.

yeah I figured it doesn't really. I do know where Jersey boys is though so maybe I'll try and head down there sometime. Not really sure what you mean by not getting used at Cilelias of Johnny g's but I'm sure I'll get it eventually haha.
Thanks Everybody!

Cecilia's is in Breckenridge, and Jonny G's is in Frisco - both are nightclubs. I've never been because I'd rather go to The Goat any day of the week, but if I want to dance then I go to Denver.
The Goat (Keystone) has live bands on certain nights, which I like, and they keep it local. I personally don't like being around tourists because I have to deal with them during the day. *My favorite bar
The Snake (Keystone) is... expensive.
Haywood (Keystone) is smaller. Not the best vibe.
Dos (Keystone) is alright. Cheap beer on certain nights. Karaoke is fun during the winter. More tourists too.
The Cala (Summit Cove) is very local, and another one of my favorites. Easy drunk walk for me - 4 minutes from their door to mine.
I don't know Breck and Frisco all that well just because I feel they are more touristy. Especially Breck's Main Street.
Summit and Eagle counties are beautiful during the summer. Plenty of mountain biking, hiking, fishing, etc.
Montezuma is really fun to longboard from what I hear (I'm too scared to do it though).
The opposite side of Keystone on the road that goes to the landfill there are some BEAUTIFUL beaver dams and aspen trees. There are also a bunch of bears up there along with two cubs that just turned a year old. There's also a gun range up by there, and we paintball up there.
I don't feel like typing anymore, but feel free to ask any questions.

awesome dude. I graduated from UVM last may and moved out here in December. Araphoe cafe is awesome and they have a sick $^6 burger night on sundays. the rec center in silverthorne is sweet the pool has water slides. in keystone most locals hang out at the goat, dos locos and summit pizza. of course everything is pretty dead right now. things should start to pick up around memorial day
