he bounced up, rode away, and said he didnt feel a thing. also he had good speed, just didn't pop at all

It's easy to get so fixated on setting the rotation hard enough that you neglect to actually pop. I've seen people do the same thing on single backie attempts.

Does no one know what happened to the kid? That looked downright awful. Hope he's alright.
