Depends what you do, I have a BB cause I do a ton of emailing, and it is INSENLY good with that. Same with texting and messanging of any kind. I also have a upgradable memory, so its good. If you are looking into getting a BB, get the 9700.

Shit is the bee's knees. It has this great thing called UMA which uses any wifi signal i connect to as my phone signal. I can make calls, texts, surf the web, all through wifi. Its handy where I work cause I don't have service in the basement, but I have wifi.

Or the Sprint HTC EVO that comes out in a month or two could be worth the wait to look at, 4G network as well if you are in a major metro area.

You can upgrade the blackberry's memory, meaning it CAN be an iPod. In fact my friend Mike (Nugget) uses his blackberry as an iPod, you just get an SD card and put it straight in your comp, drag music onto it, easy as shit.

Go with blackberry, I hate apple.

If, like me, you use your phone for SMS, email, Facebook and Twitter only, then get a BB. If you need a music player, and games etc, get the iphone.

it really comes down to whether you want a touch screen or not. both phones can do the same things, the internals are different, sure, but they can both run the same stuff.

iPhone i wish i had gotten one instead of my blackberry its a piece of junk if you want to do stuff similar to the iPhone but there more geared towards business if you want something like the iphone there is droid but there is NO replacement for the real thing. if you can get an iPhone do it

I have both

blackberry for business and heavy emailing.
I-phone for music, videos, apps and other multi media crap.

I ve never played with the Droid so I cant offer my opinion on it.

honestly, i dont think any bb has something that an iphone has other than a solid keyboard. it is a little bit more focused on email. and bbm..well texting is the exact same, it is not? generally, who has a smartphone without unlimited texting?

why not get the nexus one? or wait for the evo4g is youre with sprint? or get the droid incredible?

you heard it here, android will soon used in every phone besides an apple product. google is taking over the world.

its an app that lets you access any forums way easier than going to it on safari

cant watch videos or look at pictures yet but im sure you will be able to eventually.

I can see pictures on my iNS? let the thread load a bit longer I guess. but go with the iPhone. unless your a highranking business man that needs to be checking your email in the car with you and everywhere you go, take the iPhone. bb has a solid keyboard which is a plus, but after 2 days with your iPhone, the screens keyboard will feel right at home. and don't forget safari and the app store - it's pretty much a smaller computer, with a phone and iPod included. and the music is much easier to navigate then on the blackberry because BB isn't shaped around the music.

I feel like one of the only people left who only uses his phone for calling and texting. I am in college, so I constantly have my backpack on my back, which has in it: My computer, which can do internet shit much better and much free-er than any phone, my iPod, so I really have no need for an iPod on my phone, my homework and/or beer and/ or weed and condoms, so that I always have something better to be doing than shitting around with games or twitter on my phone. I am sure that one day, I will finally fold to the idea that an all-in-one in my pocket will be better than one on my back, but not until the iPhone comes out with a fleshlight app.

Iphone is better. the new iPhone is coming out this summer and it has a camera on the front and back so you can video chat on skype and stuff.  Blackberry is still sick though

and android just keeps on climbing...
the only advantage apple has it they're only developing for one device. (two if you count the new iPhone)
but all the new developers are flocking to android because of how easy it is to get their apps out on the market. plus any app that you can get on iPhone, you can run a cracked version on an android phone.

I had the exact same question not too long ago - ended up going with the iPhone and I am SO happy I did.

I was most concerned about the touch screen, as I felt the blackberry has the keyboard which would make typing easier - wrong. The iPhone touch screen is by far the most accurate one I have ever used. The apps, the quality of the screen, the seamless integration between the iPod, phone and text views makes it unbeatable (compared to the BB). Sure BB has messaging - but there is an app for that.
