How can you live knowing that the best downhill trail within 30 miles is highly illegal and highly patrolled? You can't. You can try, you can ride other trails, but you can't restrain the urge- you've heard stories of how legendary the only trail in town you've never ridden is. You've scoped it out- you know where it is, you know where it goes, and you know where it ends- on a university campus. And you know that the police drive past the trail's runout regularly, and even if you dodge them, it'll be tough explaining a V10 mysteriously appearing on campus.
So you go at night.
As a result of winning, he got to choose this week’s topic, which is:
Lighting
Pay very careful attention to how the light falls upon your subject, and control your light. Make it bend over for you and do what you want it to do. You can do this with speedlights, big lights, flashlights, car lights, cigarette lights, northern lights, sunlight... the list goes on. Just make sure its exactly perfect, as per your artistic vision.
Guidelines:
-you may post 1 PHOTO ONLY
-you have TWO WEEKS to capture your photo (any feedback on allowing 2 weeks time, good/bad?)
-no hating on photos, constructive criticism only
-we will have a voting thread to determine the top 5, then we will vote again to find the winner
-post your own photos
-click on embedded photos before judging, NS drains the color from them
-winner chooses the next topic
-you cannot win 2 times in a row, you can win twice, just not in a row
-PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE go out and shoot! Do your best to not pull any files because it goes with the topic. We’re looking to have this be an active photography contest.
