3D GoPro

My uncle, a photographer, was at a trade show last week and told me about the GoPro booth, apparently they are coming out with a mount that holds 2 gopros at the same time in order to ease 3D filming.  I know that some 3D edits have already been released, but thought this was somewhat interesting that GoPro is going for it!

that is really sweet. the usc ski team 3d edit or whatever was sick. this is gonna make it a lot easier for people to come out with some dope 3d edits. im stoked.

WOW! It's amazing, Like it feels like your right there watching them ski! To bad there wasn't a way that it could be 3D but not be red and blue. Still SO amazing though!

The edit is amazing for what it is, personally I think it outshines many 3D edits in high end productions!

However, I hope the 3D phase will die out again like it did last time, the novelty value is entertaining for a while but quickly fades. I think there are a few applications where it actually provides a significant benefit, like the seeds falling in Avatar, but the negatives around it are so much higher. Until the technology significantly improves, not that is hasn't already, I hope it gets relegated to where Blue-laser disc just died.

I think when it comes to graphic simulated 3D (like the in Avatar parts of Avatar vs the real life people in avatar) it is great.  3D gaming could take off, but I don't see 3D movies going very far with the current technology.

two other kids wanted them as well. i figured $3 is worth it as long as i keep track of them. plus it's only three bucks.
