So last night the cavaliers fell to the celtics, sealing Lebron's fate as a Cavalier...he is oficially a free agent...where will he go...will he continue his reign on the NBA...lets talk about itClick for larger image

lebron is 10 times more important than mike brown. if lebron doesn't want him you can bet the cavs are going to fire him. from what I saw in the celtics series lebron isn't too happy with him.

i really hope he doesnt come here to chicago. hes a talented player but i dont like his attitude.


not to mention no ones going to come to chicago till we figure out our coaching situation, since vinny is gone.

id like wins too, i just have never been a big lebron fan. hes an incredibly gifted player, but his cockiness ive never liked. hes not a team player, hes out there for himself.


but as you said, first the bulls need to sort out their coaching issues. and paxon needs to stop fighting coaches haha

I have some problems after doing a quick read-over on that article. As much as you want to compare the stats LeBron to Erving, you can't. The league is completely different between the two time periods. The league now is much more competitive than it was in the 70's.

Another thing. Lebron did have some good talent on the team. Mo, yet not too consistent in the playoffs, was fairly consistent throughout the regular season. The addition of shaq opened up a whole lot of options for defensive and offensive schemes allowing for Zydrunas to get his old bones a rest and allow Varejao to play a more with fast-paced defense.

And a new Coach in the Cavs could definitely make Cleveland a lot better. Mike Brown was able to get away with some ridiculous substitutions throughout the regular season cause Lebron would save their ass. Brown did it yet again in the playoffs and Lebron simply wasn't their to save em. Their is a lot of talent on the Cavs which really went underused throughout the season.

wow. didn't mean to rant. Just hope Lebron stays

lebron is a nothing until hes got the rings...thats how the world sees it...championships are everything. if you are mvp and can only make it past the first round...garbage.

I don't think he will go to Chicago because he will want to go somewhere and do something new, be the player of the franchise. At Chicago, Jordan will always be the greatest player, so I don't think Lebron will really want to go there. If he stays in Cleveland, he will be remembered as their greatest, and if he goes to NJ he will be the greatest, and if he goes to NY, they have had a lot of greats, but not in the last 20 or so years (yeah Ewing but he never won a championship). That's just my view. As for the Kings, if they can afford him, and show that they can win with him (getting good support) I could see him going there because they have never really had a superstar in their history, he will become the face of that franchise.

Haha I was just talking about this with someone haha

If all the great players each decided to take 5 mil a year, they could all be on the same team, and still have more than enough money to live off, considering most have been playing long enough where they can retire and live for 200 years haha
Also they still get endorsements, nike, gatorade, etc


Really, if LeBron really wants to win a championship, along with other players in the NBA, they need to stop being so greedy when it comes to contracts. But wait, then he might not become a billionaire so quick.....

I guess most people enjoy sports for different reasons than I do. Personally I like watching the individual develop and change his style during the game to counter the defense. As in real games.

I bet you guys are the type of people who get pissed off when there aren't any homeruns at a baseball game.

Seriously, even if it was just for one season, just getting some of the best players, say LeBron, Dwight, Chris Paul, Kobe, and Kevin Garnet......Basically the USA Olympic team with a few differences haha

They all haven enough money to live, but if they did that, they might not be able to afford the seventh yacht.......tough decisions for them

I agree. If you wanna watch a star studded team then watch the All-Star game or wait for the world championships. Having a ridiculous team like that would ruin the NBA. It might be fun to watch for a dozen games or so. But after a while, fan will lose interest.

Those aren't uber teams. They are a group of very talented players who have been selected because each has an integral part that together make a team.

A team of Rondo, Garnett, Big Baby, Peirce, and Allen is very different than a team of Kobe, Lebron, Wade, Dwight, and whoever else you choose. They don't compare.

Before they were all put together, KG was the best PF in the game, Allen was one of the best SG's in the game, and Pierce was one of the best SF

They got put together to make a great team, and everyone likes watching them.

If there was a team with 5 superstars, everyone would like watching them, and for that matter, rooting against them.

Heres one for you, changing sports, Barcelona. Some people say they just started buying the best players in soccer, and yet they lost, but were fun to watch.

I'm not the kind of person that likes watching a team just because they are good, however, it would be interesting to see what a superstar team in the NBA would do. I'm a Hawks fan, and they don't really have one superstar. Any game, any player out of their key 6 can be dominant, but none are considered a superstar, and yet, I watched probably 30 of their games this past season.
