I have to give a 45min presentation to my class

 And the topic can be what ever I want, what do you guys think I should do it on. I want to get a semi-decent grade, and it has to be something that can entertain me while I research it, so any suggestions?

haha wow. That could actually work. Or you could just do Disney Secrets. Then have a section on Hidden secrets, include video clips from youtube, Walt Disney and whether he was frozen, secrets at Disney World in Florida (hidden mickeys and what not). There is so much stuff that making it 45 minutes would be easy.

you could spend maybe 5 minutes talking about subliminal messages in disney movies.

you could probably go on for a while talking about the psychology behind disney movies. instilling kids with the fear that their parents are going to die, etc.

if i were you, i'd probably just do hip-hop. start at jamaican dub and work your way up through the modern day. after the big split in the 80's, a lot new genres started and you could go talk about those for a while. hip-hop has some really rich history.

If you do the Disney thing, I have seen an interesting documentary you should watch. Disney is wicked against women and really racist. Latinos are always chiuauas(sp), black people are always gorillas, and Beauty and the Beast is pretty much about domestic violence. There's so much more could be interesting if you focus it.

I had to give a 10 min presentation the other day, about Communist Russia, and my grandma lived there during the Communist years, so I asked her for some info. She e-mailed me enough for a 4 hour lecture, so my advice, if you have grandparents or even parents that have a unique knowledge of something, use that, it will be fun, interesting, and easy

i would say something that would be entertaining for the whole class because you will feel a lot more confident if the whole class is listening the entire time.

It's just an excuse for teachers to show how difficult their job is. Even though I've always found the 'teach the class' speech presentations to bet the easiest.
