I know a guy that fought in Vietnam, he apperantly went over there a totally normal person, came back 6 months a mentally fucked up person, hes gotton better since ive been alive, but he is still soo fucked up from intense close range combat. Its so sad to know what the reality of war does w/o media sensoring..

Fine, then please show us how many leaders actually fought in combat and then led us to war. Chicken hawks who when there was a war and they were of age to serve, used daddy's influence to "serve" in the national guard, didn't even serve in that, and then become president and make thousands of youth die, AND TAKE AWAY PROMISED BENEFITS TO THOSE THAT FIGHT AND MAKE IT OUT! Make these courageous youngsters physically or mentally disabled, and TAKE AWAY BENEFITS TO TAKE CARE OF THEM!!! And the yanking of benefits comes from a president who got out of the war due to his daddy being a high ranking US Official!!

Yes, this ex president who spent almost half of his term ON VACATION, until the worst on soil terrorism attack! And republican retards like Giulianna who say "he was a great president, didn't have a single terrorist attack under his term" (oops!! Except for 9/11)

For sure, I believe that. They are killing innocent people in their own homes for the interests of corporations who don't give a shit about anything except money. I'd be upset too.

And even if they are killing armed insurgents, who don't exactly count as innocent, its still a waste because if we weren't there in the first place that guy would probably be smoking hashish or milking a goat or something not bothering anyone.

What do you mean this war........... All wars fuck with people, thats why the military sends you to basic for six months. This is nothing new as sad as it may be. With that said, the media blows this way out of proportion. There are not that many combat fatalities in the Iraq war, and if you do the research there is also less suicides than in the average war. Yeah it's fucked up, but all wars fuck with all the soldiers and their families heads.

Iraq and Vietnam are not your usual war though. Sure the killing is still there, but Iraq and Vietnam there is no uniformed soldiers on the other side. Kids are running around with AKs shooting at you. Could you comfortably shoot a kid EVEN if they were aiming a gun at you without it fucking you up some in the head?

Exactly, liberals have to be so politically correct when it comes to the rules of engagement. They act as if were the savages over there and the terrorist are the ones who should be given sympathy. Just writing that pisses me off more than anything. The book Lone Survivor gives a perfect perspective over liberals attributions they place on troops. Its like they forgot that we are actually are fighting in war and forgot that war is just one big fucked up concept.
