Shipping to the UK?

i seachbarred, and had no luck. dont hate.

im looking at selling my saga jacket, and this guy from the UK has throw a great offer at me. my dad told me not to mess around with international shipping, and that there could be other fees and some international tax bullshit. im wondering do you have to pay any extra fees or taxes while shipping to the UK? this would be through USPS. is it just like normal shipping with a bit steeper of a price? thanks.

The person in the UK will be the one that has to pay the taxes. So you should be good just to ship international... Then he has to pay on recieving the goods.

and all it is is the import duty. But then i think if you put on the box that it is a used gift he wont have to pay import. But im not 100%

As he ^^ said, you won't have to pay the fees. It's the guy in the UK who has to worry about all that. Shipping costs will be slightly higher, and he may have to pay import. If you label everything up as used (older than 6 months) then he won't have to pay either I don't think.

Yep, as everyone said, you wont be annoyed with taxes problems or whatever..

The guy in UK may have chances to pay import taxes, but it really depends on the customs mood of the day !

Make sure you mention you're sending your package as a gift, and it's all good !
