Replying to Putting a handrail in the backyard?

So I found this handrail next to a dumpster and figured id would be something fun to jib. Only problem is there are no supports. I have some ideas as to how I can make a half decent support but was looking for some of your thoughts to make this work well.

The rail is a little small, but a rail nonetheless. Id say its about 4ft up and 5ft down:
