I don't really think anyone can argue that does.
I've been involved in message boards and discussion groups since I got my first computer 1997.
For gods fucking sake its 20fucking10 and this forum software has half the functionality of web cerca 2000.
I just don't get it, obviously NS has the dough. And I mean relatively lots and lots of dough. But all you have to do is go to any other forum to see whats missing here.
Why no multi quote????
Why no editable quotes?
Why no edit post function?
Why does the search function blow donkey cock?
What the fuck is wrong with this retarded post box. Pop out prompts? seriously? I have tried 3 browsers and can only get them to work intermittently. I'm sure if i put serious work in to trouble shooting I might be able to figure it out, but why should I this is web2010 it should be easy as shit. Other forums are.
I just clicked the button to try and see if the retarded system where you have to add a photo to the library before you can insert it in a post has been shitcanned yet but what would you know...no fucking pop up box.
I just don't get it, you guys obviously have a kick ass web design team and a kick ass budget to go with em. The search has to be a joke.
I'm not trying to affect change, just looking for some answers.

There is only two things I would change with NS.
-Give members the ability to delete their own posts.
-Make multi quote easier.
Other than that its basically perfect for what it was designed for. Editing posts will never work for reasons mentioned earlier. Mods have enough shit to sort through without the need to go back over everything multiple times.
w.r.t searching, the NS searchbar is great for searching literal strings(i.e exactly as the thread title was), TGR sucks for this. Anything else you can find it in google. NS will be one of the top hits 90% of the time. Not to mention you can make a custom google search.

Quoting in general. Sometimes you get a post you want to address multiple portions of one quote but you can't split them up easily to do so.

I'm going to go ahead and agree with this. Noted... search is brutal... and we need to fix it.

It's more about little tweaks like that. For example, it would be great if we could make it so that animated GIFs actually animate in-thread without having to click on them. The little things.
