This thread really has no other purpose than to share my excitement. And I'll let you know on the progress.
So I have this really rad internship right now.
Last thursday my boss, other co-workers and I went to lunch and he asked me what I want to do with my life. I answered saying how much I want to work for this specific company and why and how I love everything they are doing.
Anyway, he tells me he was just informed of a position that opened up in the company and that I should apply for it. With out me knowing, he called and sent them my resume and told them to interview me.
So monday night I get a call asking when I can come into an interview. I was totally in shock cause at that moment I was working on my cover letter to send to them.
Now I have the interview on Friday at 2. I'm absolutely freaking out. I had dreams of working there last night. I know that I am their first interview. I have amazing references.
I'm not saying who the company is just yet cause I don't want to hear anything negative or don't want anyone hyping it up anymore... but it is in the ski industry, and closely related to what my ultimate goal in said industry is.
If I get this position, it will change my life.
