I feel you.

Halak is not the only good player. Defense got a huge boost entering the series. Josh Gorges and Hal Gill were real good against both pens and caps. Cammalleri is such a great scorer. The second unit has good chemistry with Moen doing the dirty work, while Gomez passes and Gionta scores. The third and fourth line are the «Employés de soutien» and they did their job quite nicely. Or course Lapierre sometime is an asshole, but in the last 2 series, he has played his best hockey in a long time.

I honestly would never be a leafs fan if I was from Ontario... I dont think I could handle such embarassment... - and I'm saying that as a RAIDERS fan...

No cups since they added on to the O6. Pathetic, Toronto... Just Pathetic... They really should put another team in that town...

Ive been very impressed with the Habs so far. Halak is an animal and there style of play is so different compared to every other team thats in the playoffs. the habs understand they arent some high flying offensive scoring team like the pens and caps. theyve realized that their success starts from the net and builds up from there. When a team like the habs has perfected there style of play, they can do anything and control games like they have for the past 2 series. they may play one of the ugliest and boring ways possible, but they grind it out and work their asses off to do what needs to be done. the habs arent this far in the playoffs because they want to put on a show for their fans, theyre playing very defensive and shutting down key players and striking offensivly when oppertunities become availible.

the way the habs play remind me of my hockey team this year, we had 1 superstar forward on our team but everyone else was pretty average. we realized this and adjusted our style of playing to counter-act really good offensive teams.

btw the fag that keeps posting all this hate on habs is a huge fag and doesnt know shit about hockey. and he claims hes a hawks fan..hes a disgrace to the blackhawks.

GO HAWKS! GO HABS! i hope both teams make it to the stanley cup

I'm sorry but most Habs fans have been fans ever since they were born. If you're born in Quebec, you automatically become a Canadiens fan. The team has a glorious history as it is the only team that has survived war, peace, recession, 2 world wars, and global depression and came out with 24 stanley cups. The team has now been alive for more than 100 years and most fans have been faithful to their team in the good times and the bad. Being born in Quebec, I was raised watching the canadiens every season just like my parents and grand parents were raised. We've grown up learning about legends such as Maurice Richard, Guy Lafleur, Larry Robinson, Ken Dryden and the list goes on. This tradition in Quebec families will go on for ever as new generations come and go. The canadiens are not a bandwagon team, those fans you see seated at the bell centre and celebrating in the streets are fans that have remained faithful to their teams ever since they were born. The legacy of the Montreal Canadiens will keep going for ever and don't be jealous are fans are better than any other team in the nhl.

Whos this anyways? I ride Chicopee all the time bro

Haha probably.
Most people in southern ontario are Leaf fans but half of them don't admit it.. while the others cheer for some bandwagon teams that are suddenly doing good. I'm sure once Toronto starts (if ever) doing good, everyone will be cheering for them and start showing their pride as Leaf fans but really most of them have denied them as being leaf fans in the past

I'm curious to know what it's like in someplace like Windsor.

Do they cheer for Detroit or Toronto? Or Ottawa?

Back when dad was going to school in Michigan, and they went to Windsor for ice time, he said they frowned on them for being from Detroit... and were all Leafs fans... This was in the late 1960's when they were not far removed from a cup... Anyone know what thats like now?

I don't live in Windsor, I live in Waterloo. But I've heard that there are lots of Detroit fans in Windsor including Corey Vanular. In Waterloo there's no Ottawa fans at all, it's close to Toronto so they all hate Ottawa because of they're intense rivalry to be the best in Ontario. My gess is that not many people in Windsor are sens fans since ottawa is pretty far away.
