if you have a dog this works. he was working diligently on his homework on the kitchen table when the dog came over wanting to play fetch. your brother threw threw the ball and...and angry lepruchan smashed the screen, pissed on your floor, and ran away.

some guy in a coffee shop tripped on the cord while your brother was feverishly studying. the tripping motion pulled the previously mentioned laptop onto the floor, where it shattered, resulting in it's present destroyed condition.

i dunno you could simply tell them the story about how one day you were on the playground where you spend most of your days, duh, and you were simply chilling out, maxing, relaxing all cool and shooting some hoops outside your school when these fucking assholes who were up to no good started fucking shit up in your neighborhood. so you decided to teach them what was up and you got in a fight and your brother got scared and said you needed to move in with your auntie and uncle in bel air. so you whistled for a cab but it turns out the driver was drunk and hit you and your brother, fracturing your pelvis and causing internal bleeding but your brother was okay because his laptop took most of the impact. anyway another cab came up with a license plate that said "fresh" and it had dice in the mirror but it was most likely just a pain induced hallucination because no cabs have that, if it did it was super rare. but then you realized right before blacking out that it wasn't rare, you were simply in bel air. so the ambulance came and seven days later when you were released from the hospital you pulled up to a house around seven or eight and realized you were finally there. due to your fractured pelvis you had to lie in bed as the prince of bel air

they usually don't give a shit if your dog broke it or you got robbed, but i mean, if you find a good shop like i did, when i dropped my laptop, they just said, "well microboutique is a bunch of assholes, here, we don't really care, we still get paid to fix it either way, so why not help you out at the same time if you're under warranty."

i once closed my laptop when there was a watch battery sitting on the keyboard and it broke the screen.

no, i mean closing it and putting it my backpack for the day.
when i brought it back out in class a few hours later, the screen was cracked. my guess is it didn't break right at first, but after a while the pressure from the books got to it.
