that was dope, and it reminds me of something i've always wondered if it was possible: could you do a frontflip off a drop by going at it with speed, then doing an endo or stoppie or whatever you call it right at the end, then keeping it going right over the drop? because if you could, it'd be sick
possibly, but you want forward momentum usually to make a landing, where this you would be stopped. maybe possible if you huck yourself forward at the same time, but if you just jamble on your front brake, I think the momentum wouldn't carry you around, and you'd just go over the bars and land on your head
Thats what I hate about mountain biking. Especially those urban ones. They do a trick thats been done for years in bmx, and call it progression. Everyone freaks about how cool it is. And he did it to soft dirt.
1. Nobody is claiming anything.
2. Judging by your post you do not mountain bike. Mountain bikes are larger and heavier than BMX bikes, which makes tricks harder to do.
3. Progression is doing something in a sport that has not been done in that sport yet. BMX is not Mt. Biking, therefore you cannot compare BMX and Mt. Bike progression as one sport.
4. You are an ignorant fuck.

have you ever done a backflip on a 20 kg downhill bike? on a 15 kg dirt/streetbike? AND for perfect comparison, on a bmx?
there is a huge difference. of course the tricks are the same, but the equipment/terrain is different. its like throwing a backflip over a cliff into powder. in the park, 10,000 people can do that, but how many can actually stomp a 30 ft drop backflip in waist deep pow?
All that really matters is that all of those videos made my jaw drop. I've always wished i were man enough to get good at BMXing, but concrete is just too damn scary haha.
