Help on making a jacket

I am Makeing a waterproof ski jacket an i was wondering if any one has made one and has any tips like waterproofing the seems.

I can be of absolutely no help to you. But by "making" this jacket, do you mean you're actually getting some polyesterish fabric and sewing an entire jacket? That's impressive.

Oh and I duct tape my seams when they rip...very high tech.

i forgot his name, but there was a guy on here who did, and i talked to him for a while about it, it costed him around $750 to have it made and alot of work he said.

find some teflon tape or something then sew it in with the seam.

You will need a garbage bag and a pair of scissors. cut 3 holes in the garbage bag, put said garbage bag through your head and arms. Boom, you have a  new jacket that no one else will have
