now i know there are people out there who have been put out of commission due to legit injuries, but i'm wondering how many of you had to take leave because of a really stupid injury? for example, i was out for over a month due to bruising in the foot from slipping out of a hot tub and catching it under a metal fence. it was a little puncture wound, but because it was on the inside of the foot on the bone, i couldn't put a ski boot on. what are your stupid injuries from this year?
i broke my toe cuz some fat chick stepped on it. I couldn't ski for a week or so.but when i say fat take the fattest girl you have ever seen and put 3 of them in one person and then take a little out. SHE WAS A WHALSAUR (combination of a whale and a dinosaurs)
when i was in first grade i was half asleep and i fell off the top bunk and broke both my wrists. i was in 2 casts for 6 weeks. then i went to a baseball game and got like 6 baseballs from da pros because they felt bad for me haha
i'm currently out of commision for tennis because i tried to jump to dodge a ball in dodgeball, and landed on my hip, somehow hurting my back. last year i tore my mcl because a fat kid decided he couldn't stop running and it would be easier to roll straight into my knee
I left my ski boots at home once ( 2 hours away) and we were already at the mountain.. so my buddy who owns a ski rental shop hooked me up with a pair. They cut off my circulation almost as soon as i got off the mountain but i didnt think anything of it because that happens to me a lot when its cold. Anyway, by the end of the day i take the boot off.. and i can tell somethings not right. The feeling comes back to my toes and i realize i have destroyed both my big-toe toe nails.. cause the boots didnt fit and the nails repeatedly rammed against the front of the boot while i couldnt feel it.
I couldnt ski for a week.. both nails fell off and have currently regrown 2/3 of the way.
My brother was about to die in legend of Zelda: ocarina of time, in a quick reaction to save him I ran as fast as I could, kicking my foot really hard into a sharp price of metal, I got up saved him from dying, continued with my day and only bothered to look about 4 hours later and notice my baby toe had no nail, was gushing blood, and broken... This happened like 12 years ago and I have no idea why I didn't notice a broken toe at like age 5 not a winner, but up there in the ranks
