I play soccer. Usually Sweeper or fullback. I actually got chosen with other "allstars" in my league to go play in Barcelona Spain for an American team made up of the allstars from around my area. Got chosen last year too and got to go to Paris. Such a good time.

Played 4 years of varsity in high school. I loved the game, but didn't see eye to eye with one of our coaches. It was bittersweet. I definitley love kickin' the ball around with my friends now and pick up games. Soccer's a great sport.

This.  Except I played less in highschool.  I was forced to play freshman year because the team was so bad, soph year I got cut from JV, tried out the next year, got cut again, so senior year I figured fuck it.  The Varsity coach was a douchenugget who knew nothing about soccer.

Yeah, our head coach, who we were all really close with, died my junior year. Senior year the assistant coach took over, and it wasn't the same. The only reason I played senior year was for my late coach. The other guy was a jackass who I never got along with. I'd say more positive memories than negative though. I don't regret it.

We had a JV soccer brawl this season(when i played JV). It got intense, the other team was pussies. About 3 guys on our team broke their hands, and my team was suspended for 3 games.

shut the fuck up you douche.  America's two favorite sports to watch are football and baseball.  The fact is that 90% of football players would never be able to endure a 90 min. game of soccer because they're overweight and fat. Also, one thing I've never understood is how soccer gets the rep of being a pussy sport, yet in baseball there is no physical contact.  That just does not make sense to me.  Soccer players are some of the best atheletes in the world so stop being ignorant and saying it's for pussies, faggot.

Funny thing is, at the end of every girl's soccer season we always get the senior football team to play against the senior girls soccer team. Last year we beat them 11-1, the year before it was 7-1. We play a full 90 minute game every time, and we don't really have any problem running around. Soccer's like 75 minutes of standing around, with 15 minutes of jogging. I don't know what fucking horrible football players you know..but most generally have really good conditioning.


Also, kids who play soccer at any school I've ever been to..are the pussies who don't want to get hurt playing football. It's also a retarded generalization that 90% of football players are overweight and fat. You guys are just so fucking skinny and lack and muscle, we look fat in comparison. Sorry I don't have an Ethiopian 6 pack.

Again your ignorance makes me laugh.  Do you realize how different a women's soccer team is compared to a men's team.  It's a joke.  If a bunch of senior football players lost to a girl's soccer team in any sport it would be embarassing.  I'm sure if my soccer team played a women's football team we would beat them easily.  So, to sum it all up you can't compare women's sports teams to men's sports teams.  Your argument is erroneous. You fail.

5 girls on the senior team are going on to play at some of the best Universities in Canada. They had an undefeated season and the closest they came to losing was 3-1, in short they rape. Funny you should mention guys soccer, because 3 of the best soccer players in the school are in my gym class. Not only did me and some fat kid dangle them all, we scored like 3 goals in 10 minutes. Maybe it's just my school, but the soccer players well..aren't very good at playing soccer. Neither are the girls. I don't know whether I'm really good(I doubt that) or it's just that soccer's an easy goddamn sport that anyone can play.


In summary, soccer's a joke.

Also to this, a playclock in football from about 30-45 seconds depending on where you play.  A football play usually lasts no more then 5 seconds, which leaves 25-40 seconds to stand around in a huddle think up a play and get to the line.  Football players get rests between every 5 seconds of playing, which to me is funny.

Never said football was conditioning wise superior to soccer, but football players are in better shape conditioning wise. They're both pretty pansy shit in terms of cardio,. Rugby is something that actually requires endurance.

club team was region III and one of the best teams in our region for us club but i dont play club anymore and my varsity team went to state semis and lost to a team with all graduating seniors receiving a scholarship to place at colleges

I'm sure soccer at Canadian Universities is top notch (sarcasm), and gym class is well, gym class. you shouldn't take it serious and if you do kill yourself.  Play a legit club team or in a serious game against men before you make ridiculous claims.  And yes, I have played football so don't play that card.

Soccer at Canadian universities is just as good as a Div 2 school, which is the best anyone in here has done. There are university soccer teams in Canada that compete against American schools(Dalhousie comes to mind)


I didn't take it seriously, but the soccer players did. They were butthurt for a fucking week that I dummied them.

soccer and men generally don't go in the same sentence. Good for you that you've played football, you probably played at some pussy ass 2A school in New England.

Well you obviously haven't played mid, or i should say a right/left mid. There is no "off time" during that. I am friends with the football players, and have played football, as well as soccer, throughout middle school, It require as much stamina as soccer. During practices when the football team ran, i was always first and was never as out of breath as the other players. I went from football to soccer everyday during the football season. You say soccer is a pussy sport? Those are some deep words. I like how you brag about beating the Senior "girls" soccer team when the truth is, senior girls are not very good at soccer. The boys JV could kill them. Oh and i laugh when you say that soccer players look skinney. Some of the soccer players on my team are way more built than the football players. I can also kick half of the football players asses in my grade. I think it is also funny that you say soccer is for faggots, when i don't know of any gay kids that play soccer. Also, when you play right mid, like me, there are also a ton of pushing and stuff. I lay out the kid guarding me almost every game. Next time, shut the fuck up about soccer being a pussy sport, you should have seen my teams hit reel at the soccer banquet. It was insane.

no homo but the dudes on my old high school soccer team were some of the most built guys in the school. The footyball players were just some meatheads who had just as much fat as muscle. For example, on kid got a full ride to Northwestern for football and another to Indiana for football. Huge fatass linemans. One was absolutely terrible but because he was so big it was hard not to be good at the high school level. The kids who went to Akron (#1 in the country) were jacked and even had some runs on the football team and ended up being #3 receiver in terms of receiving yards.
