Crohn's

i recently found out i have crohn's disease. im not too worried because its non-surgical, just a daily pill for the rest of my life/ higher chance of cancer. only way i could get worse is if i stopped taking the medicine or if it stopped working.

Any one on here have it/ know anyone that has it? and how has life been while dealing with it?

I have it, got diagnosed when i was 16 and im 20 now. I had to have surgery and whatnot aswell as all sorts of different medication. Sucks, but i know how to deal with it now

my cousin in law has it and they said he only has 10-15 years left. he's in his low thirties with a new-born child

back in the day dave crichton used to be out for weeks at a time because of crohn's. from what i understand, he had it pretty badly though. i have a friend that has it and he just takes really big shits every once-in-awhile. luckily it doesn't sound life-threatening, but i hope all goes well with it for you

I have it, was diagnosed when I was 15 and got part of my intestine removed. I have been on medication ever since and it was pretty much been fine other than going to the bathroom a lot and stomach pains more frequently then the average person. Doesn't stop me from skiing.

i got ulcerative colides and IBS not crohns but just like it... need any advice or a person to ask question to ask me, have had it since i was 6

good man,

same here if anyone has questions.   i got UC mildly in grade 8 then last april 2010 i got it again and it knocked me out for 1 year.  i lost 50 pounds and a year of my life. 
happy its gone for now.
