It is finals week and therefore major crunch time for me. I've been awake since Sunday morning around noon, studying my ass off and bombing finals. I just got back an hour or so ago from a chill study sesh and took one of my 10mg Ambien pills to make sure I sleep soundly (I get really bad insomnia on occasion, especially when I'm really stressed).
About 45 minutes passed and I got really sleepy but I was into reading something on my comp so I decided to postpone hitting the hay for a few. All of a sudden, start to feel a little spacey and weird and I look up from my laptop screen. BOOOM!!!
I'm like, "HOLY HALLUCINOGENICS BATMAN!"---I'M TRIPPIN!!!!"
Its weird as hell. I've done shrooms before and what I'm experiencing now is visually kind of similar.
The walls are swelling and breathing.
Objects in the posters on my wall are moving, swirling, overlapping, growing, shrinking, stretching, etc. There are tennis-ball sized white streaks zooming around the room.
This is nuts! There isn't any mind or body high or anything but I would honestly say I'm hallucinating right now. It's pretty crazy.
Someone told me back in the day that it was possible to kinda trip on sleeping meds. I think may be the added factor of no sleep that is making me see shit, but they were right. oh and DRUGS ARE BAD MMMMMMKAY???? So be responsible, all you 11-year-old pokemon-playing children, and only take Ambien if you have a prescription from your doctor :D
Kind of a pointless thread.... But has anyone ever have something like this happen to them?
