i got really into pipe this year... It gets really fun once u figure out how to ski it, but it definitely was sketch the first few times i tried it. pipe, in a few ways, can be safer than park, in that if you figure out how to pop well, you could land upside down and still be fine... once i figured that out, i got a lot more ballsy with it.
i think we don't see many pipe edits because: a. you only have so many different angles [follow shots being incredibly difficult] to choose from. b. the pipe doesn't change, and we like to see different features being used. and c. with a lot of the new guys drifting away from pipe, towards park, urban, and back to big mountain, there are few people leading the pipe scene...
