I-Pod - are they worth it?

for the people who have them, are the worth the money? i know the space of the i-pod isnt going to be a problem, because i know i wont have more than 5,000 songs or whatever, but are they good for skiing and shit, and i have a pretty slow computer so is that gonna be a prob...thanks.

I'm definately going to buy an i-pod mini. so worth it. you can just grab it whenever and shove it in your pocket. thats something i'd really appreciate when i'm lugging my cart around the grocery store. lifting, waiting for busses and walking to class become far more entertaining almost instantly.

ipod minis are worthless. you can fit a normal ipod in your pocket too. just get the 15 gig. its worth it.

Minis are worthless... but yeah, the regular ipods are worth it. But only if you actually have money besides that which you use for food.

no, they definatly not worth it! (ya I know my sig but it is sort of a joke...) anyway, get a Creative Nomad Zen! or RCA makes one that is like $100 less than an ipod with the same storage
