Powder ski for gf?

so my gf just got a big scholarship to her college in idaho, and wants to celebrate with some fat powder skis. something fatter than 105 (or so) in waist, preferably rockered, and somewhere in between 172 and 180 in length. also nothing much over 400.

so far she likes these-

SFBs

well if she can handle the weight (even though i personally don't notice much of a difference than other similar skis), get a 169/179 k2 hellbent/obsethed.

172 line pandoras FTW. My friend has them and loves them. 115 (i think) underfoot. Hell, I've ridden them and even I like them, and that says a lot haha.

I've heard good things about the kiku, but they have almost no tip or tail, it's like they're relying 100% on the rocker to keep the tips from digging straight into the side of a mogul or something, and i don't like that idea.

Finally, i heard that they might make an SFB with early rise in the tip next year (but i don't really know), if thats true, if she doesn't want a girls ski, or wants something longer, that seems like a good choice too.

line pandoras are a good choice. i know a girl with them to and she likes them very much.

yeah a lot of these skis would be perfect (pandora, BC 110, caylor) but i can't find them cheap anywhere. but i'll keep my eye out over the summer and hopefully some will go on sale.

My girlfriend just got Kiku in 178.  She demoed both the 170 and 178 and she loves the 178.

I have Pandoras and they are beyond amazing. If you can, I would spend that little bit more in order to get them, it's worth it. If you or your gf have any questions about them just ask! Good luck!
