Khakis and either a polo shirt or a button down shirt tucked in. Universal interview attire for jobs like that.

when you're in the interview, make sure you claim your only negative aspect is that you're sometimes a perfectionist and you like things to be neat. you won't quit until the jobs done and you like looking back at what you have accomplished. those are all key.

to be honest. i worked at a grocery store and they will probably only hire you if they need you and have not too many other interviewees. what you're wearing probably wont matter a whole lot but if it makes you more confident just wear some slacks and a white button down tucked in. no need for a tie. its a fucking grocery store.

i old boss wont hire people of they show up for interviews in ties, but then again i worked at pacsun.

dress for the job you want not the job you have. show up in a tailored suit and ask how much your boss makes.

Do this.

Don't wear a tie. Unless you are trying to get a managerial job at the grocery store which I doubt. There is a thing as being overdressed and a tie in a grocery store fits that bill in my opinion.
