A quick word on blocking ads

I have see a few threads on this, but most of them weren't very helpful. Which kind of pipe is stronger and less likely to crack. I have been fine with white pvc pipes until I was learning how to 270 on, and then I started cracking them.
The black ABS pipes look a little stronger although I have never tried them. Anyone know which kind of pipe is stronger and more resistant to cracking, expecially when spinning onto rails?
