A quick word on blocking ads

We've got the same little button that's at the bottom of every article for sharing on 10 different social media sites that nobody uses, but why not have a "share on NS" button for blogs?
There'd be some logistical issues, because you wouldn't want the shared stuff clogging up the SG forum, but perhaps you could go all Facebook on 'em and have a section on the front page where you could see the links that your friends have shared. I think that would be the most valuable way for all involved.
Now obviously this might not seem like a great idea, because NS puts out their own content. And there is some damn good stuff if I do say so myself, but I think most people utilize NS like a niche social media site.
