has any one made their own water ramps? How long was thw in run and what materrails did you use?

You are gonna need a bug lake or something to make a good water ramp, lots of wood, lots of dendex or snowflex and a lot of time. Luckily for us, Sheffield's lack of snow makes up for it by having a sweet water ramp, although it is sometimes possible to clear the pool, which would hurt.

we got about 150 feet of inrun at a 35 degree pitch. Its about 120 feet down, 20 feet of flat, and then about 10 feet of lip. It sits 14 feet off the surface of the water. The lake goes about 200 feet out from the lip of the jump.

i dont know the name of the material, but it is some cool new shit that allows you to carve, also making it easier for snowboarders to use.

I'm just going to build one into a river i think. I'm going to use that green carpet stuff or the orange plastic fencing and put liquid soap and water on it to make it slippery. How much in run do you thin i'd need to have to get like 15 feet in the air?

alrighty why not use the wax that the sandboarders use. they are using normal snowboard with a special wax on it and you re apply it every time. me and a friend are putting just plywood down and he has a big water hole and just moving them from spot to spot for different hights

anyone know what the legal situation is with just putting one fucckin up on a public lake? i live in new mexico and water in your backyard is not a common occurance

Yeah Keystone is getting a whole freestyle training facility. It should be a pretty kick ass thing to do during the dull days of summer.
