My boyfriend is coming into town this week, so I got a set of red satin sheets to be all romantic. I slept on them last night and it SUCKED. What kind of sheets do you guys like? I guess I'll always just be a flannel girl. As soon as the bf leaves, these beezies are comin' off.
the indicator on when to switch from cotton to flannel is when you get in and have that 30 seconds of cold while the sheets warm up. I enjoy this feeling because it means winter is near!
I can put sheets in my little sleeping nook under the counter, though. I've made it quite cozy and I can quickly get out at the sound of "make me a sandwich!"
well to be honest living in a house when youre in college isnt conducive the having nice things and since my bed is basically a matress on the floor i have cheapo target jersey sheets. i like them. but seriously i hate sheets. on my bed i only like the form sheet over the mattress pad and then my comforter. plain and simple.
ehh did you wash the sheets before sleeping on them? they're usually starched. My ex woke up covered in hives once from new sheets. funny shit cuz i passed out on the couch that nite.
yeah I washed them..its not like theres anything on them..it's just that you slide around on them too much and you pillow slides away from you..so I have to stuff a bunch of pillows around my head to keep my main pillow in place. Plus, I have really bad circulation (think down comforter year-round) so maintaining a good temp with these sheets sucks. I just have to curl up in a fetal position and hope they will retain some heat and stay in place.
I like 600 thread count cotton sheets, got mine almost two years ago and I love them so much, found them on sale so they were cheap and they've held up, no fuzz balls, and super soft.
