Armada Ar6 or Scott P3 K+++

Hey i knew you probably dont want to read another kid asking about which ski to get... but im sorry

I ride east coast so its mainly ALL Park but on the rare pow day, i can be found in the woods and hitting cliffs.

Has anyone had any problems with either of these skis, im 5'6 115 lbs and looking at the scott P3 158 or armada ar6 161s i tend to like my skis on the shorter side.

sounds like what your looking for is an on3p blue steele in a 171

but if you really narrowed it down to those two then i would say ar6.

I would say Rossignol S4s being from the east coast and riding mostly park except on the occasions we actually get snow I think it's the best park ski ever but, i'd go for AR6s over the P3s if it was strictly those two skis

i just laid my old AR6s to rest simply because they were getting too short. I rode them hard for three years and they held up really well. I loved them so much that i didnt even hesitate to buy newer versions of the AR6 as my next ski. I just completed a full season riding those and i had no problems at all. moral of story: I love my AR6s

I know nothing about the Scott P3s so i can't judge them but i'd definitely go with the armadas.

One of my good friends rid P3's, they don't hold up very well. No major problems as of now, but definitely could be more durable. Armada's will last you 3 years easy.

p3's are amaaazing i love them...but i used to have a mutual thing with armada where i got free skis and they are also amazing...but the rossi s4s are where its at sch a good ski especially for da east

Ask the testers from this years freeskier park test about what skis they liked, kids are beyond stoked on the Punisher Jib...But thats just because they get fat $$$$$ for that too.
Read about it when the mag drops...

Go for the Ar6 or Line Chronics.
both are great east coast twin tips. nice in the park, and good for all mountain shit too.

AR6 = GOOOOD, durable, not too flexible.
Chronic = SHIIITTT, NOT DURABLE AT ALL (its line and if you is all park then dont get line), similar flex. (I warrantied 3 pairs of chronics this year.

and would the scott's even be considered if wallisch hadn't signed with them, i doubt the ski has changed at all

scott makes quality skis; don't base your ski-decision on the name "armada" because its more "core"...

that being said, i think you cant go wrong with either ar6 or p3....

maybe atomic punx, or volkl ledges (soft) or walls (stiff). I've ridden ledges for two years and their so sick, on the softer side but stiff have a ton of pop and their durable. Walls are just a stiffer, lighter, and a bit wider version. I've also heard amazing things about punx, that's what i'm looking to get for next season.

you can still have the same skis are your friend, who cares if your riding the same skis. volkl makes killer skis. definitely consider them.

u are the only person i have ever seen that had a promblem with the chronics .. i slam my skis into any rocks that look the slightest bit jibable and the have held up great

but id probaly go with the Armada they will prbally last longer

I own both..but haven't skied the AR6 yet.  I love my P3's, but have heard nothing but good about the AR6 as well.

They seem to have very similar flexes.

ar6s are the shit.

i rode mine hard for 2 years on top of 2 years of more recreational riding.

4 years on a pair of skis is unheard of in the park industry, and i could probably get another year out of them if i tried

Well the pair of chronics I have now have actually held up pretty well, just some topsheet chipping/delam but that is sorta expected. But I must say I like my armada's better and they have held up way better. But line always puts out pretty dope graphics, and next years armada looks soo sick.
